Mr Van Zyl holds a bachelor's degree in law from the University of Pretoria and brings more than three decades of experience across supply chain management, logistics, warehousing, distribution, transport, technology and fleet management solutions. He has a strong passion for integrating emerging technologies across diverse sectors, including smart cities, transport systems, warehousing and security.

He has held key roles at leading blue-chip organisations such as Sasko, Premier Foods, GNLD International and Paradigm Interactive Media Ltd. In 2004 he joined Professional as General Manager and, in recognition of his leadership and operational excellence, was later promoted to Group Operations Director within the Professional Group of Companies.

Beyond his corporate achievements, Mr Van Zyl is a Guinness World Record holder in golf and holds a Private Pilot's License with nearly 4,000 flight hours. He is also a sought-after motivational speaker and a member of the South African Institute of Directors, as well as a Board Member of the Commercial Aviation Association of South Africa.

His keynote engagements span major industry and academic platforms, including the Namibian Sports Expo in Windhoek, the FNB Botswana Open, the African Logistics Expo, the Chartered Institute of Logistics South Africa, the Transport Forum, the University of Johannesburg and the CILT 17th Annual Africa Forum, among others.

Dr. Benjamin Silas Bvepfepfe is a globally recognized authority in logistics and supply chain strategy, bringing over three decades of transformative leadership to the world's most complex business environments. A Chartered Fellow of both CILT and CIPS, Dr. Bvepfepfe bridges the critical gap between academic theory and operational reality, specializing in supply chain design, risk management, and the integration of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) into globalized trade.

Throughout a career spanning Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, Dr. Bvepfepfe has served as a strategic architect for both public and private sector organisations. His leadership roles—ranging from Head of Transportation for major national utilities to major consultancy work for United Nations agencies like UNICEF; UNLB—have consistently driven performance improvement and operational excellence. As an academic pioneer, he has authored critical curricula for leading international institutions, shaping the next generation of supply chain professionals.

Beyond the boardroom and the lecture hall, Dr. Bvepfepfe is a prolific researcher and thought leader. He has published in reputable journals and frequently presents at international conferences, on the future of supply chain technology, and sustainability of logistics operations. A dynamic and compelling speaker, he combines deep industry insights with a collaborative, stakeholder-focused philosophy, empowering organisations to align their supply chain resilience with long-term corporate and national goals. Dr. Derek Westfall is a supply chain educator, author, and industry practitioner with more than 38 years of experience in supply chain management and logistics. His career culminated in 15 years with Boeing, where he served as a Senior Supply Chain Project Manager leading strategic supply chain initiatives and complex supply chain transformations.

He holds a Doctorate in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California and a Master's degree in Supply Chain Management from Penn State University. Dr. Westfall currently serves as a full-time instructor of Supply Chain Management at Oregon State University and has been teaching at the university level since 2017. He is also a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and holds 12 professional certifications in supply chain, logistics, and process improvement.

In addition to teaching ASCM and other professional certification programs, Dr. Westfall is the author of How to Create a Winning 3PL Partnership and The Ecosystem Supply Chain Edge. His expertise focuses on supply chain transformation, third-party logistics (3PL) integration, process improvement, and building resilient, high-performing supply chain ecosystems.

Dr. Westfall is passionate about helping organizations navigate today's increasingly complex global supply chain environment through innovation, strategic partnerships, digital transformation, and continuous improvement, enabling them to create sustainable competitive advantage and long-term success.

Faison Reza (CMILT) is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport with over 20 years of experience in the automotive industry. He has progressed from auto technician to operations leader in Zimbabwe's national electric vehicle manufacturing project at CMED. Faison holds specialized training in EV design, manufacturing, and bus system planning from institutions in India, and has represented Zimbabwe at international forums including the UNEP Electric Bus Forum in Dakar. He is a member of the National EV Technical Committee and holds an MSc in Supply Chain Management, alongside advanced qualifications in logistics and automotive electronics.

Over the years, Kudzai has advised organisations across financial services, healthcare, hospitality, telecommunications, insurance, manufacturing and the public sector on strengthening their cybersecurity posture while enabling innovation and digital transformation.

His work includes leading ICT audits, cybersecurity assessments, vulnerability assessments and penetration testing (VAPT), data protection programmes, digital transformation initiatives and technology governance reviews.

He is particularly passionate about helping boards, executives and technology leaders navigate the convergence of cybersecurity, privacy, governance, artificial intelligence and emerging technology risks.
